Spring Cleaning Checklist

Kitchen

• Clean oven
• Remove items from the fridge, check expiry dates, organize, wipe out fridge and drawers
• Remove items from the freezer, defrost if necessary, wipe out
• Remove items from drawers and cupboards, wipe down, sort items and organize
• Remove items from the pantry, check expiry dates, organize
• Clean cooktop surfaces with ceramic cleaner or soak and wipe down element covers
• Scrub sink
• Wash floors
• Wash any lighting
• Use Affresh for your dishwasher
• Clean out microwave
• Wipe down cabinet fronts and kickplates
• Slide appliances out and clean behind them 

Bathroom

• Clear out cupboards and storage areas, organize items, discard things you don’t need.
• Wipe out cupboards and drawers, sanitize.
• Sanitize surfaces
• Use jet cleaner for any jetted tubs
• Replace toilet brushes

Laundry

• Sort through any cupboards and discard unused items, organize
• Move appliances and clean
• Use affresh for washer and sanitize front loading rubber seal
• Schedule duct cleaning
• Wipe down appliances

Whole House

• Wipe down baseboards
• Wash windows, interior and exterior
• Pressure wash outdoor areas
• Wipe window ledges
• Empty drawers and sort items
• Change furnace filter and schedule annual maintenance
• Sort through garage items, organize
• Test fire alarms
• Check expiry on fire extinguishers
• Check batteries on carbon monoxide detectors
• Schedule carpet cleaning
