Local Light Displays You Need to Visit
The holidays are swiftly approaching and light displays are in full effect! We made a little list of the lights you don't want to miss this season, especially with a wave of beautiful, clear weather coming up.
Lumagica - Cloverdale Fair Grounds, Surrey
Lumagica is back again for another season! Enjoy a fully licensed holiday festival, including vendors with food and treats, live entertainment, visits with Santa and several incredible light displays that are sure to delight. (Pun fully intended). Tickets to Lumagica are booked into time slots and the option to purchase a seasons pass is available. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for kids and are offered at $15.99 each if you gave a group of at least 4 people. Parking is free. For more info, visit: https://lumagica.ca/.
PNE Winter Fair
Head on down to the PNE grounds for a fun and exciting winter fair! This year's attractions include a holiday market, tons of food and beverage options, an ice rink, beautiful light displays and visits with Santa. In true PNE fashion, the winter fair also includes concerts (tickets sold separately) and highlight some pretty incredible holiday crooners, from The Tenors to Holly Cole to Dionne Warwick. Winterfest at Bear Creek Park
With the train at Stanley Park not running this year, enjoy a fun alternative in Bear Creek Park in Surrey. The mini-train has transformed into a holiday wonderland, and features two experiences. During the day, kids will get to experience the Santa Express, which includes a visit with Santa and an activity bag. Bright Nights
The train may not be running, but the magic of Bright Nights is still very much alive! Enjoy the classic Stanley Park light displays, yummy treats and live entertainment. Say hi to Santa in his workshop! The Firefighters will be collecting donations for the burn fund, which is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. Admission is by donation. Festival of Lights - Van Dusen Gardens
If you've never experienced the Festival of Lights at Van Dusen Gardens in Vancouver, you're missing out! Experience over 16 acres of themed light displays, walk around the lake and enjoy the magic and beauty of the landscaping and lights. Food and beverage available. $21 for adults, $15.50 for seniors and $11 for kids. If you're under 4, you're getting in free! Tickets must be pre-booked.
