Local Craft Dining in Maple Ridge
Homegrown Food and Drinks
We’ve had quite a few listings come up in Maple Ridge lately. Families from near and far are flocking to Maple Ridge to live, as it is becoming more affordable and attainable. Maple Ridge is a beautiful place, surrounded by the Fraser River, several lakes, mountains and fields. There’s a lot to offer, and that’s why people love it! So aside from the striking beauty, Maple Ridge is also a mecca for delicious, homegrown foods and beverages. Here are four places you can’t miss!
Silver Valley Brewing Company
After opening last year, Silver Valley has built up quite a following! Their beer is delicious, and their taproom is bright and inviting, right in the heart of downtown Maple Ridge on 224th. We suggest the Dark Necessities mocha ale and checking out one of their craft beer and yoga events!
Humble Roots
Humble Roots has been open for about 6 months now and does a fabulous job of serving up comfort food and delicious home cooked breakfasts. We highly recommend the Farmer’s Skillet, because who doesn’t love breakfast with a side of made-from-scratch baked beans? They have a large outdoor deck which will be a great spot for a sunny weekend brunch. If you live in an outlying area - Humble Roots is 100% worth the drive.
Golden Ears Cheesecrafters
Made by two young passionate entrepreneurs, Golden Ears Cheesecrafters has everything cheese and more. Since the cheese is made on site, you can even catch a glimpse of what’s happening behind the scenes! Cheesecrafters also has a deli and retail store on site, so you can gobble up some delicious cheese and purchase everything you could ever want, all in one place. Cheese fans unite!
Chameleon Cafe
Another staple, right in the heart of the action. The Chameleon Cafe serves up delicious food, and offers a bit of a higher end dining option, compared to the usual chains. Their food options are creative, always delicious and incorporate local ingredients. Oh, and did we mention their drink menu is pretty great too?
